    Default Forenfront conflict

    Since moving to W7 from XP I'm now getting a message warning me that Forefront Client Security is likely to be a conflict ZA invites me to 'Fix it'. Is this a genuine fix or just a workaround. Am I properly protectedd if I 'fix it'?

    Right click the ZA icon near the clock --> about --> copy to clipboard --> paste it here.

    Did you uninstall Zone Alarm before upgrading frm XP to Windows 7?

    Depending on the ZA version used you may different steps to follow to better troubleshoot the issue.

    Hi!

    you are not supposed to run two antivirus softwares at the same time this can create conflicts and programs blocking each other in case of infections (= less security). Just choose which one to run either Forefront (Microsoft Security Essential?) or ZA Security Suite.

    If you choose to run ZA then it would be good you move to the latest version 11 as it contains a new antivirus engine. Otherwise you are running two subptimal software (MS antivirus not been well rated by recent test and an old ZA).

    In the Main ZA site you will find link to download the latest version as well as here in the official information session.

    It's on a completely new HD. Only ever had W7 on it. XP is on another HD.

    Good then that eliminated a different possible conflict..

    If you had upgraded WinXP with Windows 7, while Old ZA still installed,
    it may have created another conflict due to different "NTkernal" between XP and Win7..
