Can you specify what exactly is the problem? Exact error message displayed? Other security tools installed? Other antivirus installed? Version of the OS? XP? VISTA? Windows 7? Windows 8? Malware issues recently? Screenshot of the problem? Was it working before? If yes, how you know that?

More information you post more likely other users here may be able to guess what is happening there. Otherwise its just like firing in the dark.

    Thanks,
    Fax

ZA want to update Antivirus, I think it shall happen automatically.
I have installed it at the 4th of March. During Actualisirung I get the message: Antivirus-/AntiSpyware Aktualisierung: Fehler. I tried to attach screenshot, but i couldn´t. (IOErrorEvent Type= "IOError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038")
I have no ohter security tools or antivirus installed.
    OS: Windows 7 SP1
    No malware found.
It is the first update after install, I do not know, if it was working before or not.

    Thanks

Sorry no idea what that message says. May be your internet connection is not working well? If, it is a ZA problem then I would try to reset the settings (ZA tools --> Preferences --> Reset to default).

Now reboot the PC and do not touch any ZA settings. Try to update.

If the above does not work, try to reinstall ZA. First remove it.

I have solved the problem. It was Proxy-Settings by InternetExplorer.

Thank you very much for taking the time to report back. Indeed, proxy settings can break ZA ability to update. I am revising the thread title and closing this thread as the issue is resolved!
