Thread: [SOLVED] Android Sync WIN7 - ZAPRO v 11 (build 57)---> Remove and Install latest ver

    This did it - 1.) First, please uninstall ZoneAlarm by using the Uninstall option on the Remove Programs menu on the Windows Control Panel. Restart when prompted.
    2.) SAVE the ZoneAlarm clean tool from the link below:

    3.) When the download box pops up, choose SAVE. In the next box, choose Save to Desktop then run the file from there and follow the on screen prompts to complete the uninstall. Be sure to restart your computer if prompted.
    4.) Clear your Windows temporary file cache by following the steps below:
    - Go to Start -> Run
    NOTE: If you do not have the Run option on the Start menu, you can press and hold the Windows logo key and tap the letter R .
    - Type %temp% and click OK
    - Select all of these files and delete them
    - Empty your recycle bin
    5.) Reinstall ZoneAlarm again, make sure to use latest build...

    Thank you very much for taking the time to report back about the solution. This means that the ZA settings were likely corrupted or incorrect.

    I will revise the thread title to better hint to the solution and close this thread as the issue is resolved.

    yes, somehow the settings croaked - unfortunately, I need to rebuild the program settings and permissions, zones, etc.

    Since you may not want to contact the company that makes the Sync software to report the issue the other option you have if you have purchased the software within the last 60 days is a refund.
