    Angry [SOLVED] Please explain now - Pricing issues

    Why is it cheaper for me to Repurchase ZA Firewall Pro than it is to simply renew my existing subscription?

    New purchase = $30
    Reneal = $34

    Please please do explain this discrepancy. I discovered this quite by accident, a missclick during the renewal process.

    I really don't want to think that Checkpoint could be deliberately scamming it's loyal customers seeking to renew. I really want to believe this is just some silly case of a script pulling the wrong numbers.


    So please could I get some clarification on this

    Colour me embarrassed. There was a perfectly logical explanation.

    Simple coincidence apparently.

    By coincidence they happened to be doing a sale on Zone alarm FIrewall Pro...was on the order of roughly 55% off. I just happened to choose the day of the sale to renew.

    Either way I did take advantage of the lower price to score not only a renewal at a lower price but the ability to license 3 PC's.
