    Default VPN Configuration > use a different VPN client on the PC

    I have started using Spotflux, a VPN like service. However, ZAP continues to kick Spotflux. What is necessary configuration to properly set this up?

    If you see there will be no responses from other users here a good starting point is to search the board for VPN related messages (you need to use a longer term than VPN). There should be many messages hinting to common troubleshooting steps.

    Otherwise, a good place to start is the online ZA manual. For example look in the troubleshooting section:

    I agree with Guru Fax;

    Also read thru the HELP file..

    Configuring your VPN connection automatically
    When VPN traffic is detected, an Automatic VPN Configuration alert is displayed. Depending upon the type of VPN activity detected, and whether ZoneAlarm security software was able to configure your VPN connection automatically, you may see one of three Automatic VPN Configuration alerts.

    You may want to check with whomever your VPN service provider is if you can use a different VPN client on the PC to connect to there servers.

    I personally use the OpenVPN client with a VPN service I pay for and OpenVPN has no issues working along side ZA, and requires no additional configuration in ZA to work. It is automatically configured in ZA.
