Default ZA and updating weather progrsm

I am running a weather program as a screen saver on a PC running Win 7 64bit. This screen saver updates the weather from the internet every half hour or so. Consequently ZA sees it as a new program every half hour and pops up an alert that it is trying to contact the internet.

I have ticked the 'always allow' box and the programs is set up as a 'super' program with all connections possible but this behaviour persists. Is there any way I can make this program an exception from the usual practice of setting up an alert whenever a new program tries to connect to the internet?

Perhaps I should add that I have been using both ZAF and the weather program on this PC for the past 8 months without any problems. This problem has only arisen after updating to build 768 on July 10th. Originally I assumed that it was because the program was changing and thus being seen by ZA as a new program but surely a change in a data file attached to a program should not be seen in this light?

If the above doesn't correct issue.Try this, but Lower security.

Setting authentication options : Program changes frequently.

    Thank you.

Your first suggestion must be for the Pro Security Suite as there is no 'Security' panel and hence no 'Authentication'

I then Reset Defults as per the second suggesion but unfortunately this has not made any difference.

Only other suggestion is to clean install.Remove ZA Free from Uninstall a program.Reboot.Then run removal tool & run it as administrator :

    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...load/clean.exe

    Download latest versions :

    http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...10&action=view

Always install ZoneAlarm under Administrator Account & in the root directory C:\ drive.

No support for Free ZoneAlarm Products other than Forum Users & Forum Search and the Knowledge Base here :

    http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...TYPE?product=7

Out of suggestions here since I don't know Free version limitation.Maybe other users will chime in with a solution for you're issue.

As I mentioned in my second post, I am already using the latest build. Howeer, I did the uninstall, clean and then installed an older version (build 078) but the problem persisted. So it was not a problem with the latest build as I suspected. So I installed the latest build again and then uninstalled and reinstalled the weather program but the problem persists. I can think of no other ways to solve this and can just hope that subsequent versions of both programs manage to change whatever the interaction is.

    Hello,

    This applies to version 11.0.768.000

All other versions are not supported and will receive no support.

    -Open ZA
    -Click View Detail under Computer.
    -Click settings under application control
    -Click view programs.
-Find your application that repeatedly pop-up a message to allow it to have internet access, and click once to select it.
    -Click Options button.
-Check the box - Program changes frequently.
    -Click OK

    Then your done.
