Default ZA Auto Renewa - high price

Last year when I ordered my ZA Extreme 3 pc-1 year product the Auto Renewal flag default was Activated. So This year it automatically purchased ZA extreme for $64 I had customer service back out the charge and found my old purchase & link where I got it for $39.95 . And I know the is still not the best price that is available. As a long time customer, it is strange I have to jump through these hoops. Perhaps Check Point should look at this issue.

Sorry all users here, no ZA staff. If you see that renewal is more expensive than buy a new license.

    Thanks,

The lower prices are sale prices to attract new customers. Pricing on sales change almost every two weeks.

Renewal pricing is higher for a couple reasons. You get to keep your same license key so you don't have to mess around with finding and installing it the second is that any days left on the old license renewal is merged into the renewal and no time is lost.
So you pay a bit for for the extra conveniences.

So if you want the better pricing then you must buy whatever the current sale is but beware you will get a new license key you must install and if you install that new key you will loose all the time on your old key.
