Default Zone Alarm Blocked ethernet connection

I tried and tried to fix this issue, uninstalling zone alarm. Had to do a system restore to get Ethernet working. I reinstalled ZA free and it said license expired. I like ZA so much I bought Pro and the Key didn't work, contacted tech support followed their directions got a new key (it didn't work) glad they refunded me.

I've tried other anti virus/ firewalls and just not happy. It would be great if ZA free would work again as it does on my two other PCs.

I suggest you review the many threads here on how to perform a clean install of ZA (removal tool, ccleaner, etc..) and the see if this helps. If not, I guess the only solution is to install the OS fresh on the system (if possible or desirable).
