Default The "Remember This Setting" box is by default already check-marked

    Hello,

ZA Free v12.0.104.000 installed on Windows 8.1

I noticed that when a program asks for Internet Access, and when the ZA prompt comes up noting that program wants access, and I need to click Allow or Deny, the check box for "Remember This Setting" box is already check-marked by default - How can I make it so that the "Remember This Setting" box is always by default un-checked? It's most convenient and important to me.

All the other versions of Zone Alarm (that I've ever used anyway) that "Remember This Setting" box by default is unchecked.

    Thank you!

Sorry, as far as I know, it is not possible. This is already since some years not just for v12.
Please consider to search the forum before posting. For example here same answer on v.10

I can speak for 'All Versions' up to v9.2.106.000 that box is 'unchecked' by default, but I must admit this is the first time I've installed a later than v9 version but it's only because of Windows 8.1 that I needed to.

Yes I see your search link now, that person explained it well too.
I always use search but this time I did not know what to search for.
The suggestion search link you posted at the end of that thread didn't go anywhere but I tried your suggestion and entered in "Remember" (good idea fax thanks) into the search and came up with others that mention it too....that's good, I see I'm not the only one, and for what it's worth I vote for the engineers to once again consider leaving it unchecked by default.

Thank you for your reply, have a good day.

You're welcome and a good day to you too!

As the feature was removed more than 3 years ago and was not re-introduced up to now it is unlikely it will come back any time soon. Next time a beta is published, join the testing and provide feedback. ZA development team does not monitor this user forum.

Closing this thread since the question has been addressed.

    Thanks,
