Default How to trust the virtual wifi connection in windows 7

    Hi,

I set up Virtual wifi network in windows 7 and it works well if I snooze the za firewall. When za enabled then the connection was blocked.

I checked the trusted zone and added IP range 192.168.0.0~192.168.0.255(which is the virtual wifi network) but it still didn't work.

    Please help on this,thanks.

I am afraid ZA does not support "virtual" type of networks. This is confirmed by the fact that ZA does not see it and does not add it to the trusted zone automatically. (as it normally does on normal networks).

    Sorry,

But what if I manually add the ip range to trusted zone ? ZA should konw it now but still doesn't work.

Is there a rule that just let the specified network tracffic through ZA (eg. from 192.168.x.x to 192.168.255.255)?

    Thanks.

    .

Hey,anyone can help on this please, it's really boring thing.
I have to totally turn off ZA everytime when I want to use this type of wifi.

If ZA free firewall really can not sovle this issue, please somebody can advise the same firewalls just like ZA. I really have no idea.

    Thank you all.

Sorry I have no other suggestions on how to resolve the problem. As this is a ZA product related forum, we do not have suggestions on alternative solutions.
You will need to submit your request to a more general security/firewall related forum, for example, the bleepingcomputer forum. Use google to find the site.

    Sorry again,
