Question [SOLVED] Chrome unable to access Internet after update --> check program permission

After updating ZA today, Chrome has been consistently telling me it is unable to access the network. I have no issues with Firefox, and the issue goes away when changing ZA's "application control" setting from "minimum" to "off."

Right click the ZA icon near the clock --> About --> Copy to clipboard --> paste it in a reply here.

Which exact version of OS are you using?
Did you install ZA on top of the previous version of installed clean?
What other security tools are running on the system?

More information you provide more likely other users here will be able to identify the problem and trying to help.

    Thanks,

ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall version: 12.0.104.000
    Vsmon version: 12.0.104.000
    Driver version: 12.0.102.000
    Antivirus engine version: 8.3.2.4
Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1132696832
    Windows 7, 64-bit

ZoneAlarm wasn't recently installed. I installed it as a replacement to Comodo about 5 months ago. The only other security program I have is PeerBlock, and not only does Chrome work fine with both programs off, it works fine with PeerBlock on and ZoneAlarm off. It's ZoneAlarm causing the issue, not some other security program, which is apparent by the difference when turning off Application Control in ZoneAlarm. ZA's Log Viewer shows specifically "Google Chrome was blocked from connecting to the Internet."

Probably the ZA databases (where settings are stored) are corrupted and you may need to reset them. Go to ZA tools --> Preferences --> Reset to default --> Reboot the PC. And do not restore any previously saved settings.

    Try now...

** Note that you will loose all your custom settings in ZA.

~~snip~~ I checked the list of programs in Application Control again, and it had Google Chrome listed about 20-30 times for some reason, with all checkmarks except the very last one in the list. I ticked off that one, and it works again. Thanks anyway.
