    Default Continual Virus Problem

    Hi Guys
    I had Win7 reloaded and ever since I loaded ZAISS on getting the machine back, I get the attached viruses every time I run my PC.

    Has anyone any ideas how I can clear them out once an for all?

    Hello;

    I agree with Guru Fax;

    However, I noticed in your User Profile you have ZASS v8 installed?
    or have you upgraded ZASS to the current supported ver. 12.0.104.000

    1.) Remove your current ZA version (in XP use Windows add/remove programs/Windows 7/8 Uninstall a program)

    2.) Download to your desktop and run the ZA removal tool, <= click here now reboot computer after running ZA Removal tool.

    3.) Now Install the latest ZA version without touching any default settings,
    and Do Not Restore Saved Settings from the old install.

    Look closely at the Path.

    Your going to a web site thats trying to infect you.

    This is the Web Scan feature blocking it when you see a URL in the path.

    It looks like it was blocked. So your NOT infected and the tips given wont help because its not physically on your PC. The tips are very useful for threats that are on your PC though.

    Only threats that have a path on your systems hard drive have actually gotten on your PC.

    Also note the threats were treated even the last one with a path on your hard drive.

    SO how to stop this? Easy stop going to sketchy websites or things with an adult or illegal nature (movie, music download sites). This is not meant to be rude but just the facts how to prevent it.

    Many thanks and sorry for the delay responding. I have been travelling non-stop through March. I get these alerts/ virus treatments without going browsing. In fact I get one appear shortly after logon. TBH I try and keep to tried and trusted sites on my main work PC when doing any research. I ran the suggested clean-up but they still appear, so I need to run the exterior virus check . As you say they are web paths but I'd like to clean up the problem if possible.

    Even respected and safe sites get hacked and then spread malware to users. jome unsafe flash ad or gif ad can be malware. Ditto for malicious javascripts and java.
    So can clicking on some ad on a search page result.

    Incoming opened spamming emails, and even attachments from friends/associates are possible infections.
    Media from usb or cd and shared files are also possible infection vectors.

    Browser bho/toolbars/addon/extensions/rogue search engines/ can be the blame for malware.

    But your original image does indicate the ZA caught some sort of web download/upload file.
    Best regards.
