    Default Broken web pages

All my webpages come broken no matter what browser i use (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera). I need to refresh them about 3x or 4x times to correct them.

If i "snooze firewall for 5 minutes" i got webpages without any problem.

could you please provide more information about your current setup?
Right click the ZA icon --> About --> Copy to clipboard --> Paste it in a reply. Please remove the license key information.

Also please specify the exact version of the Operating System. XP? VISTA? Windows 7? Windows 8? SP1 SP2 SPX?

What other security tools you are running? Windows Defender? Other antivirus software? Other security software?

Finally explain if it is the first time you have installed ZA? Or upgraded recently or the issue popped up without any changes on the system?

More information you post more likely other users here will be able to help.

ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall version:
    Vsmon version:
    Driver version:
    Antivirus engine version:
Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1146307904

    Running Windows 7
No other anti-virus or firewall software active
ZA installed for a long time

I have been having a similar problem.
I first noticed it while using a service called PlayOn, then it happened once with Internet Explorer, and then recently Google Chrome (Version 33.0.1750.117 m).

What I noticed happening is that the application settings in ZA would change to "deny" from "allow". Once I changed them back, my applications would work normally. I have not kept track of the frequency of this, but the first Google Chrome occurrence was a few minutes ago (2/20/14 @ approx. 1:20pm Pacific). The most recent occurrence with PlayOn was 2/19/14 after 9:30pm Pacific).

I think your issue is a different one. Its a web browsing issue and not an application issue. (like playon)

We've seen issues with our Web Scan feature where it will corrupt or prevent pages or part of web pages from loading properly.

Try turning off the Web Scan feature and reboot.

    Open ZA
    Click Computer
Click Settings in the Antivirus section.
    Click Advanced Settings button.
    Click Web Scan
Un-check Enable Web Scan and Click OK
    Close ZA
    Shutdown and reboot PC.

See if you still have an issue.
