Unhappy Scratchy noise whenever I load/refresh new tab

    Hi all!

I would like to address you one of my problem I encountered both with ZA Free AV & FW and ZA Extreme Security.

Somehow ZA is interfering with my Google Chrome browser. I didn't tried other browsers (maybe IE but it is the same).

So I would welcome anyone who has/had similar problems or knows a workaround!

My audio driver is Realtek type.

UPDATE: It seems the problem ceases on OS startup, until I start to listen Youtube, and wander away to other tabs. From that point, any page loading is noisy.
    Uninstalling ZA resolves the problem.

Well, I don't know if you were sarcastic, or not. But in case you were, I posted that thread here because I didn't find any similar topic about my BSOD problem all over the internet.

I wouldn't bother anybody with this, even if I was stuck at a certain point, but I felt it would come handy for others who might face the same BSOD.

And I also wished to point out for ZA developers or staff who read the Free ZA forum once in a while. You know, feedback.

Since I like this AV somehow, and I care for it.

Or.. you meant the line with uninstalling ZA? Well, forgive me for that, no pun intended.
I wanted to enlist the cases and all information as you requested. Uninstalled ZA - no problem is an information too, as it might last even after it.
Of course, I don't want to reach the point when I have to uninstall this SW permanently.

I was not being Sarcastic, It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country, or around the World,
without All the Details about your computer it's Software and other security programs installed that you failed to provide, without our ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

1.) Use Forum SEARCH feature located at top right side, there are several Post on BSOD with Solutions near top of General Section..

Generally, BSOD errors occur due to corruption of The Windows OS, o conflicting Software/drivers..

Sticky: BSOD vsdatant.sys issues with fltmgr.sys
Sticky: [SOLVED] ZA BSOD pfn_list_corrupt --> reinstall ZA

2.) Google chrome in not compatible with the Zone Alar Tool Bar.

    Browser security requirements
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10
    • Firefox 25 or greater

    Thank you for instant reply!

Sorry, I left this point out. I never use multiple AV or FW.

I used search, maybe I was searching for the exact amppal.sys BSOD, and that is why I didn't stopped too much wandering on similar posts.

I will let you know, if Firefox is handling it better, but as I mentioned in the first post, IE 8 failed too to counter this problem.

OFF: I still cannot understand why can't support staff do a remote access on such computers, with approval and in some official manner. Would save a lot of time, nerve, and money also.

Nope, there is no difference with Firefox either.
