Default Unable to turn off "Identity & Data Protection" in 12.0.121

There doesn't seem to be an option to turn off "Identity & Data Protection" completely in the latest version (12.0.121). Is there a way I can turn off the Identity Protection? I know very well, what I want and I only want the basic application firewall features.

    Thanks in advance for help!

    Hi!

first of all welcome! Secondly please note we are all users here, no ZA support. Sorry.

Can you describer better what exactly is not turned off? Exact ZA section? Exact components you would like to turn off? What you do to turn it off?

    Thanks,

    Thanks for the welcome, fax!

I would like to disable the feature marked with a red box:

In recent versions (11), there would be a simple switch to turn it off:

    (above: old version)

In the recent version (12.0.121) there is no such switch:

The link to "settings" as seen in the above picture does not help either:

with Activate/Manage leading to the homepage of zonealarm.

Am I alone with this, or is this just an error or missing element in the current build?

Thanks for the screenshots. I don't see anything out of the ordinary from the screenshot. The On/Off switch for malware/phishing has been removed as it is part of the of the antivirus section.

The toolbar is not installed and its normal that indentity service points to ZA website. The fact that the "Identity & Data" box is not greyed out is normal and by design.

Anything else that worries you? Anything that do not work correctly? Or conficts?

    Thanks,

    Again, thanks for your input!

I just can't get my head around it...
If this feature is not installed/enabled, why would it say
    Identity & Data: Protected
Your computer is protected from malicious sites attempting to
    steal your identity and data.
as seen in the first screenshot.

The fact that the "Identity & Data" box is not greyed out is normal and by design.
So, Identity & Data is in fact not protected, but shown as such? That does not make any sense to me...

Yes, there is an inconsistency in the GUI.
As the free version offers no support then I am afraid you will need to leave with this panel in colour rather than greyed out.
