    Default Offline Scan

Several AV products I have used in the past, including free tools such as MS Security Essentials, allow you to create a bootable offline scanner, usually on CD or USB. These tools are far more effective than scanning from a Windows session, since the OS is not running during the scan (and presumable any virus trying to interfere with a scan, or hiding itself from a scan like a rootkit, has not been able to do so). While this would not be the default scan, and the bootable media would have to be updated to include the latest definitions before each scan, this options does make sense when scanning a system that is suspected of having been infected but a regular scan doesn't find any infection, or after an infected system has been cleaned, or maybe on a quarterly basis.

So my question is, would it be possible to provide this benefit to users for additional peace of mind?

    Virus Removal Resources

Click on Rescue Disk to expand for more info.

You can update anti-virus databases via interface of Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10.

Note: You can also Google, How to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to an USB device and boot my computer from it?

Or also, How to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to a CD/DVD and boot my computer from the disk?
