if you turn on the Anti-Keylogger and you have issues then

Default ZA ISS conflict with Firefox 29

I have 3 machines running ZA Internet Security Suite v 13.0.208.000, Win 7 and Firefox 29.01. Two of them work perfectly.

The third, an Acer Laptop, has an issue which seems to confuse the link between the keypad and Firefox, ie if you type anything into a search bar or similar, random characters are generated. All other software, including Chrome, IE, Word etc work normally. This problem seems to have appeared about 3 weeks ago.

If ZA is switched off and Firefox reloaded, everything works normally. If ZA is switched on again, everything works. If an attempt to update the software is made, the problem reappears.

Can anyone help? Is it worth going through the lengthy and potentially risky process of removing and re-loading XA?

    Thanks

Have you turned ON by mistake the antikeylogger feature?

Very strange. It was switched to "on" and turning it to "off" seems to have solved the problem. On the other machines, however, it is still switched to "on" and everything works.

Thanks for the help but I wonder what is different about the one computer.

Sorry no idea, but if you start experiencing the same in the other PCs you know the origin of the problem...

I will move this thread into the right section to avoid dispersion as the issue has already been discussed before.
