    Default [SOLVED] Proper way to contact support --> Default Forums settings

    Since it appears that ZA personnel don't read any of posts in this forum, what is the "official" way to report a problem?

    I ask because all the links listed on the "Support" tab on zonealarm.com see to be "read only" (i.e knowledge base, top ten, ect).

    And this forum seems like the only way to "write" something.

    We tend to ASSUME that Users of this Forum have the reading ability to pay closer attention to ALL of the DISPLAYED information in the Post that they are reading..

    At the Bottom of Post made by the Moderator, Guru Fax or Guru GeorgeV,
    we usually include a link to the Official Support in our Signature at the Bottom of our post..


    This is a FREE service for Users of the Paid Product with a Valid ZA License Key..

    1.Click on the Support Link
    2.) a window will popup
    3.) click on the Contact US icon at the Top Left..
    4.) fill in the required information..
    5.) top question lets you select Tech Support or Non- Tech support,
    Non-Tech Support takes you you Customer Service for Refunds or Ordering product changes.

    Whenever posting here- or Contacting ZA Tech Support, it is always advisable to list Full details of your Computer:

    If what Tech Support gives you does not resolved your issue, then Please Contact Tech Support again with more information and about your issue and why their advice did not work for your computer..

    That's not a bad assumption at all. But, the problem is I didn't see such info, or even a signature in any of your posts or Fax's to me in any of the threads I posted:

    Thank you for that additional info and Screen shots..


    It looks like either your Browser configurations or maybe did you change the Default setting in your Forum User Profile Account to Block Signature?

    Below is what I see in this same Post with Microsoft IE 11 that shows my Signature information with the Link to Official ZA Support..

    Yes, your browser does not show the signature for whatever reason. This is what you should see normally at the end of my post.

    I just checked my "general" settings, and all three check boxes were off:

    [ ] Show Signatures
    [ ] Show Avatars
    [ ] Show Attachments

    I just signed up to this forum 3 weeks ago, and I don't remember turning these options off.

    Is there a chance they are off by default when someone creates a new account? If so, you should make at least the signature default to being on so other users wont seem like they can't read either

    Those options are ON by default. Probably touching other settings had an impact on them.

    I will revise the thread title and closing it as the issue is resolved.
