Unhappy [SOLVED] iDrive Backup server wants to "change the behavior" of ZA Free

I've been using ZA Free and iDrive together for months, and they played nicely. A few days ago, I updated to the latest ZA Free at about the same time as I updated to the latest iDrive.

Since then, ZA keeps complaining about iDrive: "IDrive Service was prevented from changing the behavior of ZoneAlarm Free Firewall by modifying" three files:

    C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\Data\<computer _name>.ldb

    IAMDB.NDB

    ZALog.txt

iDrive pointed me to a web page that instructs me to configure some permissions manually and add some IPs, which I have done, to no effect.

I appear to be stuck, permanently, with ZA warnings in the lower right corner of my monitor.

So... any idea what next? I should add that I got iDrive separately and apart from any ZA offer, but I can't see how that would make a difference.

You need to contact the iDrive company support dept.

There software is trying to modify our database files and log files.

ZA protects these from being modified so not to be corrupted or hacked.

We have no idea what there doing but they should not be trying to modify our files.

Just so you know your safe and ZA is protected itself.

Why the iDrive directions you followed did not work we don't know.

This is clearly an iDrive issue and you should contact there support.

If you get a response from them and a fix for there application please post it here.

I contacted them, but they did not offer any solution.

I installed Win7 updates and rebooted, and the conflict seems to have been resolved. There's no way to tell whether the reboot or one of the Win updates did it, but ZA is no longer reporting any strange behavior from iDrive.
