    Sorry;

    Sounds like a Bad or Corrupted Install.

    Exact version of OS used? XP SP3? Vista SP2? Windows 7 SP1? Windows 8? 8.1?

    Any Other security Programs running on the desktop PC? Laptop? Netbook?

    At this point I would remove ZA 13.1 via the standard WIN7 "uninstall an application", do not use clean.exe and then install the latest ZA version you find here:

    Looking for the latest version?

    If you have a valid license, you can contact, free of charge, the ZA technical support at the link in my signature as we are all users here. Explain in detail the issue of Zone Alarm.

    Not sure what support could suggest but if you find a way out please do not hesitate to post it here as it may help other users with the same problem.

    Thanks,

    I have a similar problem with:
    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version: 13.2.15.000
    Vsmon version: 13.215.0
    Driver version: 13.1123.0
    Antivirus engine version: .3.4.
    Antivirus signature DAT file version: 160625344
    Anti-Spam version: 6.4.3.20177

    After about 15 minutes the 'Files Scanned' is still 0 and the clock is still advancing.
