    Hello;

    Whenever posting here- it is always advisable to list Full details of your Computer:

    The More information you post the more likely users here will be able to understand the issue and try to help.

    It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country, or around the World,
    without All the Details about your computer it's Software and what type and Version of Zone Alarm and Version Of Windows OS that you failed to provide, without our ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

    Right click the ZA icon near the clock --> About --> Copy to Clipboard --> Paste in a reply here. Mind to remove the license key (if applicable).

    Regards;

    How the ZA firewall zones are setup?
    Is your network set as trusted? Did you change any default settings of ZA after having it installed either in ZA firewall section or application control?

    One user here suggested this:

    Try the HP Print and Scan Doctor to help identify and fix common problems when installing or using HP printers on your home network.

    Uuuhm... have you looked under the right section?

    1. Click Tools > Logs in the Menu Toolbar of the ZoneAlarm Extreme client interface.
      The Alerts and Logs window opens, and the Log Viewer panel shows.
    2. Select log type from the drop-down list (firewall, application, antivirus, etc...)

    As you seem not finding easily your way with ZA... best to do a clean install of the latest version (13.3....). For details probably better you contact directly the official ZA technical support at the link in my signature (we are all users here), its free for registered users.

    Ask them that you want to install the latest version of ZA extreme and you will like to know how to do it in the cleanest way possible as you have problems with HP... etc.

    They will guide you hand in hand in how to do it.

    Thanks,
    Fax
