    Default [SOLVED] Fake jave update < looks like my Firefox browser was the problem

    I keep getting this fake java update,tried running my ZAISS its clear.
    So ZA does not pick it up,any tips

    You already posted this some months ago. Best to get your system checked by malware experts at bleepingcomputer or spywarehammer. They will take you hand in hand and check your system.

    No panic, first you need to ensure your system is clean. Then follow the other link to ensure your PC components are fully up to date and that ZA is configured for maximum protection and finally mind what you allow to install on your system. No rocket science, just common sense.

    lookslike my firefox browser as the problem it only happened on one site,s I moved everything to explorer,deleted Mozilla,things seem ok now,fingers crossed

    I am glad to hear the issue is resolved. Next time please follow directly the suggestion already given. i.e. review of your PC logs by anti malware experts. The other suggestion (i.e. ZA settings and full up-to-date PC + third party components) are a must anytime.

    As the problem is resolved I will revise the thread title and closing it. Do not hesitate to PM in case you need to reopen it or open a new thread for any other ZA product related issue.
