Thread: Unable to Update

    Default Unable to Update

    Hello,
    Just upgraded my Zone Alarm PRO, I kept receiving a message and gave in!
    I am now running the following:
    ZoneAlarm with Antivirus version: 15.0.159.17147
    ZoneAlarm license key: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Vsmon version: 15.0.159.17147
    Driver version: 15.1.29.17237
    Antivirus engine version: 8.7.0.69
    Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1249606592

    I have a problem, when I click update it goes through the motions, but then shows:
    Antivirus/Anti-spyware update: ERROR
    Tried reinstalling but nothing
    Any ideas please?

    Try Resetting the DATABASE ..

    Try this:

    Left click on ZA Icon in System tray
    At the top right side Click on TOOLS
    Click on Preference
    now Click on "Reset to Default" button

    Click on OK

    Reboot computer

    Now try "Update Now'

    This only works the once, you have to go through the same procedure every time you up date. Does anybody know a permanent fix.

    Sorry We're all users here in this User Supported Forum, If you have a Valid unexpired Paid License to ZA It is always best to go back to ZA Official Support for Paid Users, and if what they suggest does not resolve the issue keep going back to ZA asking support and let them know it did not resolve you issue, so they can elevate your issue to the ZA Developers.

    Let us know here how you issue was resolved, it may help other users here..
