This Beta License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either on behalf of yourself as an individual or on behalf of an entity as its authorized representative) (“You”) and ZoneAlarm, a Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. Company (“Licensor”), with respect to the pre-release version of any Licensor product offered and/or provided to you by Licensor (the “Beta Product”) and is effective as of the date this Agreement is accepted (“Effective Date”).
By accepting this Agreement, or downloading, deploying, installing, copying or otherwise using the Beta Product, You agree to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, deploy, install, copy or otherwise use the Beta Product.
(a) Assign a liaison to serve as Your primary point of contact with Check Point, with such person also to be responsible on Your behalf for the protection of the Beta Product and compliance with the terms of this Agreement;
(b) Use reasonable efforts promptly to begin operation of the Beta Product, and use the Beta Products in Your usual and customary user environment, as the Beta Product is intended to be used;
(c) Report to Licensor on a weekly basis all errors and problems You encounter in the use of the Beta Product;
(d) Document Your experiences during the License Period in a detailed written log (describing any problems encountered, the date and time of the occurrence of the problem, the circumstances leading up to such problem, other information that is sufficient to enable Licensor to recreate the problem and Your recommendation to remedy the problem). You agree to forward this log to Licensor on a monthly basis; and
(e) Furnish Licensor at the end of the License Period with a final written report based on Your experiences, containing Your evaluation of the functions, performance and serviceability of the Beta Product and of the related documentation.
As part of your participation in Check Point's Beta program, certain confidential information regarding existing or future products, research and development information, technical information and/or ideas contained in any medium may be disclosed to you by Check Point ("Confidential Information"). You agree to hold in confidence and not to disclose, publish, share, copy, distribute or use (except to evaluate the Beta product within the U.S. as part of Check Point's Beta program) any Confidential Information to any third party. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to derive the composition or underlying information, structure, or ideas of any Confidential Information. You are not granted a license in or to any of the Confidential Information. You may not remove or export or re-export any Confidential Information without the prior written consent of Check Point and only in compliance with all applicable export laws and regulations. You may complete any Check Point Beta surveys provided to you and report feedback relating to your use of the Beta product only to the Check Point Beta group. You may discuss your Beta thoughts and/or ideas only in the Check Point Beta forum. All Check Point products are subject to the applicable End User License Agreement.

A: Though all of our beta builds are fully tested before they are made available to you, please remember that the goal of beta testing is to help us identify where issues exist in our software while it is still being developed. Therefore, issues could still occur during beta testing. Remember, you’re using the beta software at your own risk.
Q: What if I experience issues while using the beta software?

Sometimes, we find that we need additional information from you before we can proceed with our investigations, so please be ready to send us your specific response so that we can be sure to address your specific issue or concern.
Q: Can I use my current MyZone login name for beta testing?
A: Yes, in fact your MyZone login is identical to the login for the Beta Center. You must have a MyZone account to access the beta program. Please be sure to sign up to become a part of our program.
Q: What happens if I keep the beta software installed beyond its expiration date?
A: Once a beta expires, you will need to either upgrade to a newer beta build or uninstall the beta and re-install a shipping software version. If you were provided with an extended, valid license key before you installed the beta build, it will still be in the system and will be recognized by the shipping software version. Occasionally, we have special programs for beta testers. Please visit the download page of the beta software that you are interested in testing for the latest information.
Q: Can I get technical support for the beta versions of ZoneAlarm products?
A: Please keep in mind that there is no technical support for the beta versions of ZoneAlarm. However, please visit the ZoneAlarm User Forums for support. In the forums, you will find a wealth of knowledge from users to address any concerns which you may have.
